A Note from Lenny the Boxador
What is a Boxador? Mix a little bit of Boxer with a little bit of Labrador and you’ve got a Boxador!!
My people and I found each other at an animal shelter when I was 6 months old. I knew from the first day that they were the people for me.
They wanted the best for me… great toys, nice bed (in fact, 3 beds), a collar with our favorite baseball team on it, but what they couldn’t find was really tasty and healthy treats. My whole family calls me Itchy Lenny, so I have to watch what I eat so I do not get my allergies all riled up. Everything we could find had lots of yucky filler, heavy carbs and wheat and TOO MANY preservatives that we just could not pronounce. I was not going to eat that! (Well, I might have, but my people loved me too much to let me!)
Instead, they whipped up some great treats for me with all natural ingredients, fresh vegetables, fruits, and other things I love.
I gobbled them right up and being the generous guy I am, I started to share them with my friends. A few protested.  “Healthy stuff, no way!” “I’m not eating vegetables!”  However, I convinced them to give them a try, and they loved them.  Some of my friends need their food to be gluten free and others are vegetarians, some of them just have a little extra jiggle in their wiggle! All their people said they were so relieved to find something that their pups loved, and they could feel good about giving them. With that, Boxador Bites was born.
Since then, we’ve been busy! In addition with trying to make sure Boxador Bites are available everywhere, we’ve been helping causes that help my furry friends. One of our favorite things to do is help on transport missions which take dogs from one rescue to another, sometimes the whole way across the country! I think EVERY dog deserves people as nice as mine!
